This version of the Zebra Midge uses a Black Tungsten Bead Head, Clear tube wrap and Red wire to finish it off. This fly really gets down quick to where the trout are feeding.
This is a great imitation of a Chironomid. There are a lot of colors of these insects from black, red, brown, tan, green and cream colored. When fish are keying on midges, you might want to have several different colors and types. They are great to fish in a dual dropper system to test what colors or sizes the fish want.
