This a hybrid wet fly/nymph and is a must have to your fly box. The Buggy Hot Spot is a great attractor fly that will catch fish. CDC hackle fibers and hares ear dubbing will keep the trout coming back for more. The best thing about this fly is it is like a fine wine and gets better with time. As the hares ear dubbing gets worn, it gets buggier looking and helps to catch fish. Some of the guides that use this pattern won't take this fly off until it is a hook and a bead because of its effectiveness.
