Jenny (@jenners49) is one of our ambassadors from Montana Region and best known for her beloved brook trout and her long braids. She can be found hiking up to fish high mountain lakes and small creeks most of the time. Her hand selected fly assortment is some of her favorites and work effectively in her Region.
We are happy to offer Jenny’s assortment of flies that will catch fish in many Regions. You will get 3 flies in each size. All flies is packed in our Double Sided Medium Combo Box in zip lock bags allowing you to set up the group as you wish.
Royal Wulff (Sizes #12 & #14) A classic dry fly pattern. With the peacock and red floss, it attracts fish like no other. The white wings are highly visible, so you know when the fish eaten your fly.
Purple Haze (Sizes #12, #14, #16) Who isn’t on the newest craze. Purple is the new peacock of the 1970s. This highly visible dry fly floats well and has caught fish large and small. It is perfect for fish feeding on the surface during that magical hour.
Pink Legged Liz(Sizes #12 & #14 ) A new dry fly that can only be commercially available through Region. Jenny’s best fishing bud and guide Liz developed this fly. It is made to float well and catch fish.
Pheasant Tail (Sizes #14, #16 & #18) The classic nymph pattern that is the go-to fly for any angler who doesn’t know what to tie on. This is the number nymph pattern for all anglers.
CDC Prince (Sizes #10, #12 & #14) A spin on a classic Prince nymph with more action with the CDC hackles that make it look even more buggy and will fool any trout.
Dungeon Streamer When Jenny isn’t chasing brookies, she is throwing streamers at big aggressive Cutthroat trout. Fishing with a big articulated streamer is so much fun when you have an aggressive fish wanting to eat it.
