Bead Head Hares Ear Soft Hackle fly is based off the classic fly pattern and is highly effective for catching all types of fish. The bead adds additional weight to get the fly lower into the water column where fish are feeding and the soft hackle gives it additional movement.

This fly can be used on a standard fly fishing nymphing rig or just by itself.
Although not a traditional Tenkara fly, it works great when at the end of a Tenkara rod.
